Record Store Day 2019 is almost here. The twelfth edition of the international event includes limited releases from big names like Courtney Barnett and David Bowie. Philly record shops are doing a lot more than selling collectible vinyl and used CDs on April 13. Discounts, in-store performances, libations, and even specialty coffee and donuts are among the highlights of this year’s event.
Not every area shop is participating in the annual sale. To ensure that you have a shot at a special release on the list, it is best to check with a store in advance to see if they signed the RSD Pledge. Each of the following Philadelphia record stores are carrying RSD vinyl in 2019.
