Welcome To The Flat Circle 2.0

I began my second endeavor into blogging on April 30, 2017. It did not take me long to realize that I needed to upgrade my site, but procrastination has a way of interfering with the best intentions. I have spent the last few months waiting for the right time to make some changes and begin a more serious effort into blogging. This week I decided to finally make a transition to WordPress and create a better blogging experience for myself and readers.

While I am still in the process of making cosmetic improvements, I am glad to present the first phase of blog changes. My goal is to enhance The Flat Circle and make this site more enjoyable for both myself and you.

I will continue to cover different aspects of pop-culture and entertainment, but with a greater focus on television and film. I have found that readers tend to interact to those pieces more and I want to create a blog that promotes that type of relationship with people. I will also spotlight podcasts and music because great listening experiences are as important as visual entertainment.

If you had previously followed The Flat Circle by e-mail or RSS feed, the subscription may have been lost in the transition from Blogger to WordPress. Subscription links are available at the bottom of the page for both. I hope you subscribe and follow the blog on Twitter and Facebook as well. I have plans to increase the number of interviews and shift some of the style of the content to take this blog to another level.

The rediscovery of the joy of writing and producing content was a critical part of my 2017. I hope to grow the numbers of readers so that I can continue to discuss our favorite shows, flicks, podcasts, and albums in 2018 and beyond.
