One year ago today I began a new adventure. 365 days, 117 posts, and 31,496 visitors later, the Flat Circle Blog has reached its first anniversary. In the one year that I have been blogging I have learned so much about writing, the world of pop-culture, and myself.

The Keystone Comic Con is scheduled to take place from September 14-16 at the Philadelphia Convention Center. This is the first edition of the Keystone Comic Con and could be the start of an amazing annual event in Philadelphia.
The xx are one of my favorite bands. The trio from the U.K. create a subdued style of Indie pop that blends electronic music and dream pop brilliantly. I have been hooked on the band ever since I heard their debut album. While looking back through my collection, I discovered an xx song from their early period that had been lost in the shuffle: the track “Insect.”
April 13 marked the twenty-fifth anniversary of Conan O’Brien's audition to replace David Letterman as host of NBC’s Late Night.
